support humanitarian projects in fragile and conflict-affected countries around
the world, providing a rapid and cost-effective service for development and

Role objectives |
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direct supervision of Media support officer and over all supervision of UNICEF Communication Specialist, the 7 extenders will perform the following duties.
Duties & Tasks
Monitoring and tracking misinformation/rumors · Under the supervision of the Media Support Officer, the reporters will monitor the situation and will prepare report accordingly · The reporters will contribute to polio campaign monitoring in their respective regions Skills
· Ability prepare quality report for radio · Ability to prepare video report for TV, social media, and website · Ability to take good photos and videos · Ability to prepare success stories for Polio Free Afghanistan social media platforms · Good relations with media groups, press club and department of information and culture in their respective regions

QUALIFICATION and COMPETENCIES
University degree in one of the disciplines relevant to the following areas: Communication, Journalism, Media studies, Social Sciences, IR
5 or more years of relevant professional work experience. Experience as journalist, reporter or editor with any national, subnational or international media channel.
