| Overview of position |
Under the overall supervision of the Cross-Border Post-Arrival Humanitarian Assistance (CB-PAHA) Programme Manager, the direct supervision of the CB-PAHA Field Coordinator, and the administrative supervision of the relevant Regional Coordinator, the incumbent will assist in the provision of immediate post-arrival humanitarian assistance at the zero point, and the Reception and Transit Centers (RC/TC), including but not limited to the screening and selection of vulnerable undocumented Afghan migrants at the zero point or reception center, their subsequent registration at the transit center facility, and the provision of post-arrival and cash assistance, and onward referral of particularly vulnerable cases for the provision of specialist assistance. The selected candidate must be willing to participate in a rotational deployment modality between zero points, reception and transit centers in coordination with the CB-PAHA Field Coordinator and other members of the CB-PAHA team. Selected candidates should also be willing and able to deploy to other CB-PAHA operational locations across Afghanistan in support of other CB-PAHA teams. |
