| Role objectives |
The FSO operates as an embedded country-level security function, with responsibility for supporting operational teams to manage security risks effectively and consistently. Core Responsibilities The Field Security Officer works closely with operational teams to assess ongoing threats, support the implementation of mitigation measures, and promote a culture of safety and security across CTG operations. Through proactive monitoring of emerging and existing risks, the FSO contributes to the protection of staff and assets while supporting operational continuity in high-risk environments.
The FSO supports the Country Manager’s accountability for Duty of Care and does not assume independent decision-making authority during crises unless formally delegated. The role provides operational security support and advisory functions only. Responsibility for compliance verification, audit, investigations, and disciplinary processes sits outside the scope of this position. |
