BSc in or an advanced diploma in civil engineering or a related area is required, a post graduate qualifications in a technical area relevant to the position is desirable (essential). |

Minimum of 5 year/s of demonstrable relevant experience in material testing for civil engineering construction activities experience (essential). |
Geographical experience |
Minimum of 5 year/s of experience in Somalia (essential). |
Languages |
Fluent in English (essential). Fluent in Somali (essential). |

Role objectives |
The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for material testing & quality controls on road & pavement construction as directed by the Resident Engineer / Material Engineer, as well as proper maintenance of the project's material testing laboratory. The specific roles & responsibilities are:
