Overview of position |
Specific Tasks/Activities 1. Conduct regular field visits to ODF communities in the assigned area. 2. Facilitate meetings with CLTS committees and community members, and mothers’ groups to discuss ongoing sanitation practices and challenges. 3. Provide continuous support and encouragement to maintain ODF status, emphasizing the importance of sustained behavior change. 4. Identify any issues or barriers to sustainability and work with communities to develop solutions. 5. Monitor and evaluate progress towards sustainability goals, documenting successes and challenges. 6. Collect data and information on sanitation practices, challenges, and achievements for reporting purposes. 7. Collaborate with local stakeholders, including government authorities, NGOs, and other partners, to leverage support for sustainability efforts. |

Key competencies |
1. At least high school graduate. 2. Minimum of one year specific experience in community mobilization and hygiene promotion. 3. Previous experience in community mobilization and engagement, preferably in the context of sanitation or hygiene promotion programs. 4. Understanding of CLTS principles and approaches. 5. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse community members. 6. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. 7. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
8. Fluency in the local language(s) spoken in the assigned area. |
