Overview of position

CTG is supporting large-scale international infrastructure and humanitarian-related projects across Libya. The programme focuses on rehabilitation, construction, essential services restoration, and sustainable infrastructure development in key sectors including energy, water systems, public facilities, and emergency response infrastructure

Role objectives

Electrical Engineers

Design, supervise, and implement electrical systems for infrastructure projects

Ensure compliance with international safety and quality standards

Conduct site inspections and technical assessments

Mechanical Engineers

Oversee mechanical installations and maintenance systems

Review technical drawings and contractor execution

Support commissioning of systems and equipment

Civil / Construction Engineers

Manage construction works, site supervision, and quality control

Monitor contractors and ensure timely delivery of works

Prepare technical reports and progress updates

WASH Engineers

Design and supervise water supply and sanitation systems

Conduct field assessments and infrastructure rehabilitation planning

Ensure compliance with WASH standards in humanitarian and development contexts

General Responsibilities

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

Prepare technical documentation and progress reporting

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards

Support project planning and implementation phases

Project reporting

to the assigned line manager.

Key competencies

Problem-solving and analytical thinking

Strong coordination and communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Experience with international donors or NGOs (asset)

Team management

Team management is not a requirement.
