| Overview of position |
This position is located in the Field Technology Section (FTS) of UNISFA. |
| Role objectives |
Within delegated authority, the ICT Security Assistant will be responsible for the following duties. Monitors ICT security tools, dashboards, system logs and alerts to detect potential security incidents. Assists in identifying, documenting and escalating cybersecurity incidents in accordance with established procedures. Supports incident response coordination and ensures proper tracking and follow-up actions. Assists in conducting vulnerability scans of mission systems and endpoints and tracks remediation measures. Monitors compliance with patch management and security baseline standards. Assists in administering user accounts and access rights in accordance with established policies. Supports periodic user access reviews and monitoring of privileged accounts. Maintains ICT security documentation, including risk registers and compliance records. Contributes to preparation of periodic security reports and dashboards. Assists during internal and external audits, inspections and compliance reviews. Supports delivery of ICT security awareness briefings to mission personnel.Performs other related duties as required.
