Hart Security Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resource Coordinator.

The HR position is to support the Somalia Operations team, by providing human resources administrative, coordination and support. 

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Human Resources providing essential support for the day-to-day operations in Somalia.

Role objectives

HR Coordinator

Act as central focus for all HR matters for the assigned project(s)

Ensure all HR paperwork is maintained and recorded including by limited to NOK, contract, medical, medical questionnaire, HR incidents, and passport, always maintaining data protection with personal sensitive data.

Liaise with the Travel department for the flight bookings of all personnel mobilising, leave rotations, and de-mobilisations.

Supervise rotation and leave rosters to ensure that everyone has their correct allocation of time off and rotations are in line with the contractual terms.

Ensure amendments are provided to payroll.

Ensure that the Job Descriptions remain relevant to the role.

Working with the Project Management team to ensure that performance reviews are undertaken.

Maintain the HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Database 

Complete weekly/monthly HR reporting. 

Project reporting

Policy

Manage and maintain all HR documents to meet with the Hart Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO:9000 standards as directed by the Head of HR.

Complete periodical audits on personnel information, job descriptions and policies for continual improvement. 

Ensure that all Hart HR operations are conducted within national and international laws (ILO) and regulations and, additionally, in accordance with the principles laid down in the International Code of Conduct (ICoC) for private   security companies. 

To ensure particular attention is paid to pre-employment checks and all individuals having the correct documentation working with approved recruitment agencies.

Key competencies

HR Coordination Skills must include - analytical, decisive but consultative; capable of innovative thinking and managing change.  Strong organisational skills.

Commercial skills – understanding strategic direction of international human resources (global standards).

Communication skills – first class oral and written English communication skill. 

Recruitment and Selection – end to end cycle of recruitment and selection activities. 


Team management

The HR Coordinator will be part of the country management team.

Further information
  • Proficient English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) Must be TOEFL / IELTS level 7 or above.

  • Experience working within the security industry an advantage.

  • Experience implementing and maintaining document control.

  • Must have IT Skills
